Regis MdKinney lived on Hunter's Hill which is close to the Point Breeze area of the township.  We rode the same school bus to Junior High on Duff Road and then to the High school.  Regis was a low key type of person who was always smiling and extremely good natured.  During the winter time the creek at the bottom of Hunter's Hill always froze over and Regis, Sam Adams, Clair Maxwell, Philip Abaray and myself would play ice hockey using tree limbs for hockey sticks and a real puck.  Remember the half day classes at the old high school during our Sophmore year - every winter morning  we went down to the creek to play hockey before going to our afternoon classes.  One day Regis brought a bottle of Old Grand Dad and we all took a shot to warm up.

Sorry to see someone who was part of a simple but enjoyable memory pass on.

Gene:

Marge is my sister and she was part of the 1962 PHHS senior class. The correct spelling of her maiden name is Marjorie H. Wolfe.

Regards,

Doug Wolfe
