Robert (Bob) Conte, age 80, of Plum Borough, passed away peacefully on February 27, 2024. Bob was the beloved husband of Carole for 57 years. Born on May 31, 1943 in Pittsburgh, PA, he was the son of the late Dominic and Geraldine (Wells) Conte.

Bob was a United States Air Force veteran and a retired millwright from Edgewater Steel - Oakmont. He enjoyed photography and playing guitar. Bob had a great sense of humor and an engaging smile. Most importantly, he truly loved his family and especially cherished the time he spent with his only granddaughter, Carolyn.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Theresa and Robert (Cheryl) Conte; granddaughter, Carolyn; grand-dogs Mia and Crosby aka "Roscoe"; siblings, Dom (Maggie) and Philip (Susie) Conte, and Gerry Greblun; sister-in-law, Phyllis Conte and brother-in-law, Jerry DeMaria; Aunt Rose "RoRo" and Uncle Tony Tedesco; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his siblings, Joseph, Gina DeMaria, Lawrence (Elsie), and Lorraine Conte.
