HARRY 'SONNY' JOHN MAY, 74

LAKELAND - Harry 'Sonny' John May, 74, of Lakeland passed away on January 23, 2018.

Born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late Harry L. May and Betty May. He was the husband of the late Cecelia Minton May.

Sonny is survived by sons, CDR Tim May (Jackie), Brian May (Denise); sister Betty Lu Ireland (Gary); five grandchildren; companion Darlene Christy.

Sonny was a retired US Navy veteran with over 30 years of service.

There will be a graveside service on February 2, 2018 at 12:30pm at the Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL with military honors.
