Ernie and I had been friends since grade school days when we both lived on Verona hill. he was a wonderful, caring, and, yes, shy individual. Just good memories of him.
Ernie and I were personal friends and I send my sympathy to his wife and children. He was a quiet gentle soul but had a wonderful sense of humor. I'm sure he's keeping the angels laughing.
